What is Sanctum?

Sanctum is Solana liquid staking infrastructure designed to unify the fragmented Solana LST landscape, best known for its Infinity pool and its mission to make all Solana liquid staking tokens interoperable and liquid. Rather than being just another LST, Sanctum provides rails that let anyone launch a liquid staking token cheaply and ensures LSTs can be traded and used with deep, shared liquidity — addressing the problem that Solana had many competing LSTs with fragmented liquidity. Its Infinity (INF) pool aggregates many Solana LSTs into a single liquid, yield-bearing token backed by a diversified basket, and its Reserve provides instant unstaking liquidity across supported LSTs. Sanctum also lets projects and validators launch their own branded LSTs. The trade-offs: Sanctum is more infrastructure than a single simple staking product, so understanding what INF and its components do takes a bit more effort; the diversified-basket approach means your exposure spans multiple underlying LSTs (diversification, but also multiple risk surfaces); and it's Solana-only.
